Co-located on the Riverside at Belfair campus is Belfair Gardens, a unique stand-alone Alzheimer's & Dementia Care community. This dedicated "Senior Village" was designed specifically to provide a continuum of care making it easy for residents to remain connected to their spouse, friends and the Riverside family and ensuring they will never have to move. Our residents move into our community with complete confidence that they will be provided with excellent care and services now and in the future.

Each community has their own caring and experienced staff to address our resident's particular needs. The Riverside at Belfair family is headed by its Executive Director, Sean Doran. With more than two decades of collective experience in senior care, Sean and his team work extremely hard to create an independent lifestyle for our residents by ensuring that their tailored personal preferences are met, while maintaining the highest level of choice, autonomy, dignity, privacy and respect. The Belfair Gardens family is headed by its Executive Director, Lara Williams. She brings two decades of dementia care experience as a Certified Dementia Care Specialist and is the current head of the South Carolina Assisted Living Federation of America Chapter. Lara and her team offer high quality state-of-the-art care to address the special needs of the senior population with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. Sean, Lara and their respective teams work together to find the right fit for our residents. We encourage not only the residents, but their families to participate in the process and remain actively involved in our communities.
